For the next few blog posts (3 more) I will be showing you the fashion of my friends. I admire the hell out of their style and how their clothing is very much an extension of their personalities. These are ladies I take fashion cues from, probably without their knowledge, all the time. Get a glimpse inside the closets of some wonderful women!
First up!
Ashley Ward - The Trend Setter
I chose Ashley because her style is so much a part of who she is and it's constantly changing, or rather evolving, and she always looks amazing. Ashley is one of those girls who could wake up and throw on an oversized t-shirt and still look like gold, she just has that quality about her, and good looks a la Kate Moss too, and her style comes off looking effortless.
Ashley admitted to finding ideas for her fashion from places like lookbook, the website dedicated to fashion forward people around the world- where they can post pictures of their latest fashion creations. This makes sense considering I've rarely seen Ashley wear the same outfit twice and the pieces she chooses are often of the moment or ahead of the moment- hence why I have dubbed her the trend setter.
Ashley seems willing to try just about anything fashion wise and taking risks with fashion is something I commend anyone for. From the sleek black dress below (worn with red lipstick) to flowy dresses and jean jackets, Ashley's style is eclectic, taking just enough from everywhere and pulling it all together to make it her own.
